Minor Surgery

Doctors Ashworth and Golding carry out minor surgery procedures by appointment. Cryotherapy for removal of warts etc is also carried out on the premises.

Travel Immunisations

If you intend to travel abroad, please make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your requirements at least eight weeks prior to your departure to ensure adequate protection (some vaccinations take that long to become fully effective).

Flu Vaccination

An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and for those who are residents of nursing/rest homes or carers. Please contact the reception staff in October for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment.

Non-NHS Examinations

Dr Ashworth carries out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside of normal surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment. The fees charged for these services are in line with the BMA recommended charges.

Treatment Room

Treatment Room services are carried out at Yarnspinners. Procedures such as dressings, suture removals and ear syringing can be carried out via appointment on 01282 657619.
