The Surgery experiences an extremely large volume of telephone calls every day all regarding lots of different questions and queries about our services. We appreciate at times it can be more difficult than others to reach the Reception staff to book an appointment, request test results ect. but if you are needing information from a different area, for example, Referrals or Prescriptions, we offer direct phone lines to our members of staff that specialise in these areas.
To point you, our patients, in the right direction to who you need to be speaking to within the practice we have allocated specific phone lines:
These options are given out when you call the Surgery directly on: 01282 612 621 but with the line to Reception being offered first a lot of patients are not listening to the other direct line options.

Line extension '1'
Our Reception staff no longer deal with Prescriptions and requests. Any queries regarding prescriptions and medication must be dealt with by either Sammy, Jill or Alex. However you still can not order prescriptions over the phone.

Referrals, Insurance and Financial -
Our Referral line is run by Christine. Any questions surrounding your referral or insurance claims please call her line.

If you have recently been in hospital, information regarding Baby Immunisations or Private Clinics -
Please call Jill directly to speak to her if you have recently been discharged from Hospital, if you require information about when your Child needs their immunisations and for Dr Ashworth's private clinic appointments.

PLEASE NOTE: Not all calls made to any of these lines, including reception, can be guarenteed to be answered first time, this is due to the sheer volume of calls we receive. If the direct line you require asks you to leave a message - please do. If your call is not answered your message will not be ignored.
