Wheelchair access to the building is at the front entrance and doors are automated for ease of entry.

The entire building was designed with disability in mind. This means that all patients with disabilities can be seen at the surgery rather than at home.

This is a service that gives the opportunity for patients to be booked appointments outside of the usual working hours. Appointments are always either in an evening from 6.30pm – 8.45pm during the week or on a Saturday from 8am – 1pm.

The clinics are held at Colne Health Centre on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On a Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday they are held at Yarnspinners in Nelson.

To book these appointments you will need to speak with the receptionist at Barrowford Surgery.
