Here are some of the comments we received in December 2025 from patients following on from their appointments at the practice.
Some comments we receive on Friends and Family help the practice look at areas of improvement and are discussed at meetings with staff. Very Good & Good
- Prompt service. Very polite receptionist. Saw the physio the following day after ringing for an appointment- can’t fault anything
- Efficient- seen on time. Lovely nurse who was chatty and did a great job quickly – no fuss.
- It starts at the reception, the receptionist are always warm and efficient.
- The Nurses are also very welcoming, they listen attentively and they are very thorough indeed.
- GP was very clear on the findings of my recent ultrasound scan. She was also clear on the options available.
- The doctor was really kind and reassuring. She referred me to a consultant and that appointment was made the same day.
- The service I received from the FCP was very good. He gave adequate time and explanation regarding my issue. I feel the triage service and process to be a bit of a challenge and not necessarily patient need led. It feels a little difficult and time consuming to get to where you need to be.
- Phone call received on time, informative chat about blood test results and plan for meds and further test.
- I was seen on time, and treated by a very pleasant, and efficient person
- My ongoing problem has been dealt with swiftly.
- Always polite and helpful at reception and in clinics
Poor & Very Poor
- I came for a pain injection and was unable to get it due to my medication which I should have stopped taking 3 days before. Doctor told me to make new appointment but when I tried, I was unable to see anyone until new year.
- I’ve been waiting for the last two months to sort this condition out and I’m still waiting
- Communication of appointments very poor.
Text messages of reminders of appointments and links for phone call appointments sent to wrong member of family. Just like this servery message. Despite numerous times of informing of the error.
Appointments made incorrectly as where needed to be seen at surgery was given a phone call appointment and mix up at reception.
